Eline van Miert

Eline van Miert is a junior researcher and network coordinator at Atria. She works on projects relating to the history of women’s gender equality, feminist activism and oral history, including Beijing +30. She is also the network coordinator for the alliance Act4Respect, which focuses on the prevention of sexual violence and violence by (former) partners.

Eline is studying for a Master’s degree in Public History at the University of Amsterdam, where she focuses on underrepresented histories. Her final-year research project examines the migration history of the Indonesian community in the Netherlands. She previously completed a Bachelor’s degree in History, specialising in social history. For her bachelor’s dissertation, she researched the Moluccan women’s organisation Kelompok (1978–1991).
